45m² Open-Plan Kitchen & Diner in Herringbone LVT
Precision herringbone alignment across an open-plan kitchen and diner, finished with a two-plank perimeter border and flush brass transitions.
What we walked into
The existing subfloor had significant level variation across a 45m² open-plan space, and the clients wanted a herringbone layout that ran uninterrupted from the kitchen island through to the dining area.
What we did about it
We laser-surveyed the full floor, laid a fresh latex screed to bring the slab within tolerance, then installed the herringbone LVT from the centre line outwards so the pattern stayed symmetrical on both sides of the room.
